I knew I'd be punished for having 3.5 years in sunny CA!
I woke up to 6 inches of snow this morning...and its STILL snowing. Just spent the last 45 minutes shoveling my driveway. I figured even though its still snowing it would be easier to do it now and then have less to do later. I think my next major purchase will be a snow blower!

Shell Bell! I hope you are settling down into your own new home. And don't worry about snow... it goes away. Buuuut, if you get tired of it, I'd trade you places anyday. =)
said by someone who enjoy's SNOWboarding! I was terrible!!!! I was more bummed at the time it took me to shovel it all away and wishing I had a snowblower....and unburying my car since my garage is too full of boxes for the car to fit in it!
I say give up and make a snowman :-)
From what I understand, you did the right thing! Shoveling 6 inches of snow sooner is better than shovelling 6 inches of snow plus 4 inches of ice later :P
yeah...the other snow didn't stick...so I just dug myself out early enough to go to the laundromat later!
